What it is
GSM (grams per square metre) measures fabric weight. A lightweight t-shirt jersey might be 140–160gsm; heavyweight hoodie fleece 350gsm+; canvas for bags heavier again.
Spec tip
"Premium heavy cotton" is an opinion; "240gsm combed cotton jersey" is a specification. Include GSM in tech packs and BOMs so quotes and samples match your intent.
